The 46th Central California Lions All-Star Classic was set for Saturday, June 15, 2019 at Alex G. Spanos Stadium on the campus of Lincoln High School in Stockton, with kickoff scheduled for 7 p.m. and pregame festivities beginning at 6 p.m..

In one of their final preparations before the game, the North All-Stars gathered for a late Thursday practice at Stagg High, where plays were called, routes were run, and quarterbacks got in more work with their receivers. The team, led by head coach Jason McCloskey of Mountain House, had spent the week staying in the dorms at the University of Pacific while practicing at Stagg.

The North entered the week trying to reverse the recent trend in the series. The South had gone 5-0-1 over the previous six years, giving the North extra motivation heading into one final all-star appearance for many of the region's newest graduates.

Fans were told tickets at the gate would cost $10, with $5 parking at the stadium.
